Key Responsibilities

  • •Agree and apply drawing strategy, type, and drawing numbering; suggest efficient methods of drawing production with the project engineer.
  • •Develop and model building elements in Revit from structural drawings/PDFs or hand drafts; prepare sketches/RFIs and coordinate details into building elements.
  • •Prepare, amend, and manage BIM models and drawings for structures using CADSRC, AutoCAD, Revit, Allplan, Bacad, and 3D reinforcement activities.
  • •Set up automation activities where needed, align BIM models to project standards, and liaise with client-side model managers.
  • •Assist CAD/BIM manager with estimation and costing inputs; follow QA, document control, and archiving guidelines and coach junior technicians as requested.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in BIM/CAD work for structural reinforcement detailing, working independently and as part of a project team.
  • •Knowledge of both structural and architecture outlook disciplines.
  • •Experience working in point cloud and Revit environments, including pre-cast and cast in situ working models.
  • •Hands-on proficiency with CAD/BIM tools including CADS/CADRC, AutoCAD, Revit, Allplan, Bacad, and 3D reinforcement modeling/specifications.
  • •Good understanding of international codes, industry standards, and WSP Switzerland standards/templates; able to use standard software functions without requiring support.
