Job Summary

Responsible for managing inventory and material flow, delivering materials to production, performing pick work via scanner, ensuring quality, updating transactions, and stocking production areas in a 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) at the Richmond, VA site. Cross-trains across departments, participates in 5S and KAIZEN improvements, and supports safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Manage inventory and material flow; deliver materials to production teams; perform picking and cycle counting with SOPs.
•Assist Team Lead/Team Manager with administrative and operational tasks, including coordination and reporting.
•Report deviations (Safety, Quality, Parts, Equipment) to Status Boards and update leadership.
•Ensure accurate tracking, handling, and distribution of materials to production; stock production areas.
•Cross-train in multiple departments to provide flexible support and drive efficiency; participate in 5S routines and Kaizen improvements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•2+ years of experience in Materials.
•Basic desktop computer skills required.
•Basic math skills required including the ability to read a tape measure.
•Forklift operation certification preferred; overhead crane experience preferred.
