Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle complex supply chains between directed tiers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
  • •Develop, manage, and improve APQP through PPAP submission and the start of mass production with suppliers.
  • •Lead design reviews to ensure DFM/A considerations for interior commodities and define quality expectations early.
  • •Drive and track tier suppliers’ engineering design change activities and coordinate cross-functionally to protect plants and final customers.
  • •Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections; develop process improvement plans and monitor performance metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing/assembly environments in supplier quality, quality engineering, R&D, or manufacturing engineering (automotive preferred).
  • •At least 6 years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management.
  • •Experience with interior components and manufacturing processes (e.g., interior trims, coverstock, cut/sew, injection molding, welding, adhesives, and end-of-line testing).
  • •Proficiency with quality lifecycle stages and tools/standards such as IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, and GD&T.
