Lead electrical product and system development for HVAC and other industrial offerings, translating customer requirements into reliable designs. Own product-level electrical design, wiring and harness design, and control panel development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Guide reliability, qualification, and safety implementation using electrical codes and standards (UL/IEC), perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinate component sourcing and qualification. Mentor engineers and manage technical requirements in parallel.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop products by studying customer requirements and criteria.
•Own product-level electrical design, including wiring and harness design and control panel design.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system/component functional, reliability, qualification requirements and design.
•Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot low- and line-voltage systems, and perform testing/diagnostics with documentation.
•Lead the electrical team by managing multiple technical requirements, performing trade-off analysis, coordinating sourcing/qualification, and mentoring engineers.

Key Requirements

•Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or related fields.
•11+ years developing electrical systems for HVAC and other industrial products for global markets.
•Proficiency in electrical component specifications, selection, analysis, and functional/reliability testing (including contactors, relays, protection devices, transformers, and LV motors/controllers).
•Hands-on experience with UL and IEC standards for electrical system development and qualification, plus strong knowledge of electrical codes and country standards.
•Experience leading/mentoring technical teams and coaching; ability to hire and lead contract resources and interns (preferred).
