Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop products by studying customer requirements and criteria.
  • •Own product-level electrical design, including wiring and harness design and control panel design.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system/component functional, reliability, qualification requirements and design.
  • •Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot low- and line-voltage systems, and perform testing/diagnostics with documentation.
  • •Lead the electrical team by managing multiple technical requirements, performing trade-off analysis, coordinating sourcing/qualification, and mentoring engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or related fields.
  • •11+ years developing electrical systems for HVAC and other industrial products for global markets.
  • •Proficiency in electrical component specifications, selection, analysis, and functional/reliability testing (including contactors, relays, protection devices, transformers, and LV motors/controllers).
  • •Hands-on experience with UL and IEC standards for electrical system development and qualification, plus strong knowledge of electrical codes and country standards.
  • •Experience leading/mentoring technical teams and coaching; ability to hire and lead contract resources and interns (preferred).
