Job Summary

Join the Traffic Management team to provide architectural assurance for network access traffic serving ByteDance’s Global To Consumer business. As an SRE graduate, you’ll oversee end-to-end access traffic governance, help build cross-system scheduling and disaster recovery plans, and drive cost/performance optimization through routing, transmission protocols, and compression. Support large-scale scenarios such as API and media/on-demand transfers with an eye on high availability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee architectural governance and optimization of end-to-end access traffic.
•Participate in building cross-system scheduling frameworks, traffic standards, and disaster recovery plans.
•Optimize cost and performance for access traffic using routing strategies, transmission protocols, and compression.
•Support large-scale scenarios such as API, images, on-demand file transfer, and messaging.
•Contribute ideas and technology to improve value for the business under traffic and availability goals.

Key Requirements

•Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Solid networking foundation, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS, and knowledge of HTTP/2 and QUIC protocols.
•Preferred experience in product development or operations for large-scale traffic with expertise in high availability, cost and performance optimization, fault diagnosis, and network access architecture design.
•Experience in Golang, Python, or C++ with development in a Linux environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication and clear logical thinking.
