Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain power equipment including cranes, shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, pneumatic tools, and tracked/wheeled vehicles.
  • •Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects; dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
  • •Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, replace defective engines and subassemblies (e.g., transmissions), and test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
  • •Weld broken parts and structural members; may direct workers assisting with cleaning and assembly/disassembly.
  • •May repair, adjust, and maintain mining machinery and related equipment and ensure safe operation in indoor/outdoor conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
  • •Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening, and receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result.
  • •Ability to bring and use own tools and meet physical requirements (lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous movements).
