Job Summary

Develop, monitor, and continuously improve an Instrument, Electrical and Analyzer (IEA) asset maintenance strategy for the Bayport Polymers Plant, ensuring assets function across their life cycles. Lead/participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses, manage spare parts to reduce unavailability risk, and analyze data to solve repetitive failures. Provide technical support during FEED and capital project execution and collaborate across site technical groups and external OEMs to improve availability and life cycle cost performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Systematically develop, monitor, and continuously improve an IEA asset maintenance strategy (PdM, PM, failure-finding, and corrective maintenance) to ensure assets function as required.
•Ensure sufficient spare parts to manage asset unavailability risk.
•Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses (RCA).
•Use data analysis to develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures affecting process safety, personnel safety, environmental, regulatory, operational, and quality performance.
•Provide technical support during front-end engineering and design (FEED) and execution phases of capital projects so newly installed/modified assets realize value throughout their life cycle.

Key Requirements

•BS in Electrical or Nuclear Engineering with at least 5 years relevant experience maintaining and improving IEA asset performance in refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, power generation, or nuclear industries.
•Ability to communicate complex issues effectively across the organization, with leadership skills for mentoring and consensus building.
•Understanding of business drivers, management of change requirements, reliability processes, and maintenance workflow.
•Basic proficiency with industry codes/standards (IEEE, ISA, NFPA, NEC, NETA) and instrumentation/measurement technology.
•Basic proficiency with PLC programming and maintenance, analyzers and sample systems, diagnostics/troubleshooting, reliability engineering concepts, and reliability data analysis, plus project management process (PMP) and software (SAP, AMS, CONVAL, ExSILentia, Power BI).
