Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with ESG SMEs to understand, refine, and challenge CRD VI and CSDR business requirements.
  • •Validate requirements against regulatory frameworks and resolve gaps or ambiguities to ensure auditability and regulatory alignment.
  • •Translate validated requirements into functional specifications, technical designs, epics/user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery.
  • •Design scalable solutions across data architecture, flows, and controls, including data models, mappings, and lineage for CRD VI reporting and CSDR settlement metrics.
  • •Produce analytical outputs (reports, calculations) using SQL/Excel and Python/R, support engineering implementation, and assist QA/UAT with traceability from requirements to system logic.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in data analysis and technical business analysis within financial services, including data architecture and technical requirements gathering.
  • •Strong working knowledge of CRD VI/CRR frameworks (ESG integration) and CSDR, including settlement discipline and reporting.
  • •Proficiency with advanced Excel for modeling, SQL for querying/validation, and Python and/or R for analysis, transformation, and automation.
  • •Experience with data models, mapping, data lineage, and regulatory reporting datasets and systems.
  • •Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery artefacts, with strong documentation and Agile backlog/story refinement experience.
