Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a portfolio of Treasury Managed Fund Workers’ Compensation claims from inception to finalisation in line with regulatory and Allianz requirements.
  • •Drive strategic collaboration and case management to maximize return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
  • •Make informed liability decisions through comprehensive evaluation of relevant and accessible information.
  • •Foster effective relationships with injured claimants, families, and relevant legal and medical professionals; coach others to develop these skills.
  • •Assess claims for treatment and rehabilitation needs, identify risk trends, and recommend policy improvements to ensure compliance and enhance claims practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully completed structured training and built evidence demonstrating technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
  • •Medico-legal qualifications plus experience managing bodily injury claims processes across insurance, legal, medical, or complex customer service environments.
  • •Ability to work collaboratively, provide advice and guidance, and temporarily fulfill roles such as Case Reviewer and Team Manager to support the team.
  • •Strong planning and prioritisation skills to organize tasks, manage competing resources, and encourage these behaviours in others.
