Job Function: Consulting & Advisory

Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee monitoring and QA of fieldwork subcontractors on-site and in technical reviews, including RAMS.
  • •Prepare competitive tenders and design scope/methodology for archaeological fieldwork in line with health and safety protocols.
  • •Contribute to archaeological desk-based assessment and related deliverables.
  • •Liaise with stakeholders, curators and clients to coordinate project requirements and expectations.
  • •Lead fieldwork projects from planning and consent applications through delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to budgets and deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in archaeological fieldwork project management (project, financial and staff management).
  • •Robust knowledge of archaeology and history, and full knowledge of planning processes and heritage legislation.
  • •Experience in heritage and planning, masterplanning, heritage conservation, heritage-led regeneration, placemaking, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
