Job Summary

We are seeking an analyst-level investment accountant to support investment accounting functions, reconciling bases such as GAAP, US Statutory, and Bermuda Statutory for fixed income assets, and preparing related financial disclosures, schedules, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders within a fast-paced investment environment.

Job Function: Finance & Accounting

Key Responsibilities

•Support investment accounting and reporting on a US GAAP, US Statutory and Bermuda Statutory basis for Athene USA
•Prepare quarterly and annual reporting for consolidated US GAAP (10Q & 10K) and unconsolidated US Statutory filings (footnotes and investment schedules)
•Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of investment data to GL for applicable bases of accounting
•Review investment portfolio activity in the ePAM accounting system using ARCHIE data warehouse and reporter
•Prepare and post journal entries within the close and reconciliation process

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•3-5 years of accounting or analysis experience required
•Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
•Experience preparing and presenting financial reports is strongly desired
•Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory financial accounting regulations preferred
