Job Summary

Lead and grow a Construction Planning technical capability within a consultancy, acting as a trusted adviser to clients on schedule progress, performance and delay analysis. This hands-on leadership role combines technical consultancy with people management to develop a high-performing team across major infrastructure programmes, delivering credible delay analysis, reports and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and grow a Construction Planning technical capability within a consultancy across multi-sector infrastructure programmes.
•Act as a trusted adviser to clients on schedule progress, performance and delay analysis.
•Demonstrate visible people leadership to ensure health, safety and team well-being.
•Apply delay analysis principles and review contractor progress and programmes to ensure accurate delivery performance.
•Support clients in commercial meetings including delay-related claims where required.

Key Requirements

•Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions and be prepared to undertake UK National Security Vetting (SC level clearance) criteria.
•Demonstrated health and safety leadership with people management experience.
•Extensive experience in construction planning on major infrastructure programmes from a main contractor background.
•Proven experience validating construction progress and assessing programme performance on projects under construction.
•Degree in Civil Engineering.
