Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and enforce phase-gate quality thresholds from R&D to serial production to prevent unstable designs from entering assembly.
  • •Implement Go-to-Production quality gates and govern quality thresholds for product release and manufacturing workflows.
  • •Design and embed mandatory physical and digital inspection points in the active assembly line to intercept anomalies.
  • •Standardize traceability and root-cause analysis for post-deployment failures, ensuring CAPA actions are engineered and applied.
  • •Collaborate with Production, Airworthiness, and deployment technicians to synthesize agile development with rigorous industrial standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with strong quality/industrialization coursework.
  • •Deep understanding of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 and aerospace EN9100, adapted to small, agile production lines.
  • •Hands-on expertise with FMEA and control plans to design practical, high-impact inspection and control gates.
  • •Proven experience leading 8D and 5 Whys investigations, using Ishikawa diagrams to resolve issues quickly.
  • •Experience auditing suppliers and setting up line testing/inspection stations with calibration and basic SPC.
