Job Summary

Serve as a military subject matter expert supporting USAA’s Military Affairs work with Army National Guard and/or Air National Guard leaders. Build relationships and plan installation business opportunity events, marketing agreements, and campaigns across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Lead cross-functional training and Military Acumen Visits, provide Military 101 and financial readiness education, analyze trends and past performance, manage program expenses, and ensure risk/compliance oversight while traveling frequently.

•Apply broad knowledge of USAA products and programs to improve relationships with leaders, members, and prospects.
•Serve as a resource to peers and lead/collaborate with cross-functional teams executing face-to-face marketing and informational events.
•Plan and negotiate installation marketing agreements and manage marketing currency, creative rotation, and replacement.
•Analyze trends and past campaign performance, schedule Military Acumen Visits, provide Military 101 and financial readiness training, manage assigned program expenses, and support risk/compliance oversight.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience within the Army National Guard and/or Air National Guard, with comprehensive understanding of the National Guard’s dual state and federal mission.
•4 or more years of experience engaging in the military community.
•Possession of a Military ID card is required.
•Understanding tactical/operational planning, program development, project tracking, and ability to develop business metrics.
•Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop analyses, charts, and supporting documentation.
