Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain the team’s urban drainage modelling capability, staying current with latest developments and providing training for junior members.
  • •Support team leaders in managing local technical delivery, including supervision of tasks and review of deliverables.
  • •Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support wastewater work across current and future projects to improve efficient delivery.
  • •Exercise independent engineering judgement and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • •Develop and maintain client relationships, coordinate and facilitate internal and client project meetings, and contribute to proposals and business development.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant degree and be chartered, or significantly progressed in pursuing qualification with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM.
  • •Proven experience of wastewater hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM, including the ability to check others’ technical outputs before issue.
  • •Good working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems, and relevant British Standards.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly.
  • •Demonstrate engineering judgement and a drive to find innovative solutions to engineering problems.
