Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with field Solutions Engineers to understand needs and drive adoption of prototypes until the field uses them.
  • •Build working prototypes ahead of general availability using AI-assisted coding tools to demonstrate capability gaps.
  • •Engage directly with strategic and executive-level customers to validate prototypes and pressure-test competitive positioning.
  • •Develop and maintain technical assets focused on readiness (messaging decks, architecture decks, demo environments) and keep them current.
  • •Experiment with new AI capabilities/skills and feed field learnings back into scalable COE best practices and tooling.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of hands-on solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical pre-sales experience, ideally in analytics, business intelligence, or data platforms.
  • •Deep, current expertise in Tableau Cloud and Tableau Desktop, able to speak to platform capabilities and limits as a product SME.
  • •Ability to build working technical prototypes independently, including with AI-assisted coding tools.
  • •Experience partnering with field or sales teams to translate feedback into actionable product work.
  • •Comfort communicating technical gaps/opportunities clearly so the field trusts your assessment.
