Job Summary

Provide crop management and nutrient application for farmland areas in an environmentally sustainable manner. Perform field activities such as weed eating, spraying, mowing, bush hogging, disking, and maintain detailed record keeping. Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, pumps, reels, pivots), complete daily rainfall readings and inspections, manage spill recoveries, and help ensure compliance with Safety (IPS), Bio-Security (BMS), and Environmental (EMS) policies. Achieve state spray applicator certification within one year.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide crop management and nutrient application to farmland areas in an environmentally sound and sustainable fashion.
•Complete outdoor field activities including weed eating, spraying, side mowing, bush hogging, disking fields, and related record keeping.
•Operate and move equipment such as reels, pivots, linear systems, pumps, and drive tractor/mowers.
•Comply with Safety (IPS), Bio-Security (BMS), and Environmental (EMS) management system rules and regulations.
•Perform daily rainfall readings and inspections, facilitate spill recoveries, winterize equipment, and be on call for emergency situations.

•Ability to read and speak English.
