•Provide quality support to product manufacturing by resolving defects and ensuring products meet customer specifications.
•Support the Plant Manager with executing the quality strategy and manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
•Oversee, mentor, and train junior quality engineers; may assist with hiring quality engineers.
•Improve process capability and reduce costs using PDCA and continuous improvement methodologies.
•Maintain and improve quality systems to support ISO9001 certification and lead quality deliverables for new product launches, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer audit/complaint problem-solving.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or more in engineering or a related technical field with at least 5 years of quality assurance experience, or an associate degree or less with 6-8 years of quality assurance experience.
•ASE and/or Six Sigma certification (preferred, not required).
•Experience with Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF-16949, plus quality processes and new product development approval process APQP/PPAP.
•Certified Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt experience (preferred).
•Demonstrated project management, analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective written and oral communication; ability to manage multiple projects.
