Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, from three-way match invoice matching to payment execution.
  • •Verify vendor invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, correct GL coding, and cost center allocations.
  • •Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs through corporate banking platforms.
  • •Reconcile vendor statements, resolve outstanding balances/discrepancies, and support AP aging analysis and month-end/year-end closing.
  • •Supervise, guide, and train AP officers/clerks while identifying opportunities to streamline and digitalize AP workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior AP role in a luxury 5-star hotel.
  • •Proficiency in hospitality ERP systems (SunSystems, FMC Material Management, Opera, ACE) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • •Familiarity with Qatar banking procedures and Qatar tax/WHT regulations, plus local vendor dynamics preferred.
  • •Fluent written and spoken English; working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
