Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure contractors and vendors follow company safety procedures and sign required documentation.
  • •Interface with other departments, contractors, and suppliers to align facility priorities with production needs and planned outages.
  • •Troubleshoot and coordinate restoration of building system upsets/outages, communicating status/ETA and driving corrective actions.
  • •Provide day-to-day technical direction to facility technicians and vendors, including assigning work priorities, coordinating access/LOTO, and verifying completion and quality.
  • •Support facility budgeting, audits, preventive maintenance/inspections, documentation control, and lifecycle management; evaluate and recommend contractors and resolve discrepancies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma plus 5 years as a Facility Engineering Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Skilled trades certification as an Electrical or Mechanical Journeyman plus 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Associate degree in a technical discipline plus 3 years as a Facility Engineering Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • •Experience with commercial building utilities including power, air compressors, emergency generators, plumbing, fire detection, and facility systems.
