Job Summary

Perform hands-on construction labor duties supporting highway, utility, grading, paving, and site development projects. Follow all safety policies, regulations, and jobsite procedures while working independently on routine tasks under supervisor guidance for complex assignments. Assist with site prep (excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling), load/unload and transport materials and tools, set up traffic control and work zone signage, and support concrete/asphalt/pipe installation and crews as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
•Perform general construction labor duties supporting roadway, utility, grading, paving, and site development projects.
•Assist with site preparation including excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling activities.
•Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
•Set up and remove traffic control devices, barricades, and work zone signage as directed; support concrete/asphalt/pipe installation and crews as required.

Key Requirements

•Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
•Previous heavy civil, highway, utility, paving, grading, or construction experience.
•Perform physically demanding work, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds (with assistance as needed).
•Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
•Must have a current and valid driver’s license and OSHA 10-hour Construction certification (or other relevant safety training).
