Key Responsibilities

  • •Create capital sourcing strategies to reduce risk, enable continuous cost reduction, and align payment terms, cash targets, on-time delivery, and cost savings to company strategy.
  • •Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to evaluate sourcing models and optimize value for products and services.
  • •Ensure supply-base health by evaluating/selecting suppliers based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness; conduct supplier analysis to support a strategic sourcing plan.
  • •Execute purchasing and contract work: issue purchase orders, run RFIs/RFPs, manage bid events and negotiations, and independently negotiate contract terminology, pricing, scope, and export compliance terms.
  • •Track sourcing performance and trends against budget on a monthly basis; maintain continuous cost reduction programs and drive make-vs-buy decisions across the product lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 1+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations management, or related cost control/scheduling functions.
  • •Experience working in one or more of: engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
  • •Understanding of utilities and related commodity/power contracts (e.g., power purchase agreements), pipelines/cryogenic commodities, or gas system equipment.
  • •Ability to work with a global supply base using various contractual models and support cross-functional new product introduction cost models and negotiations.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication and high integrity/ethics in high-tempo, ever-changing environments.
