Job Summary

Join Wiz’s frontier research team to advance contextual code understanding across complex cloud deployments. You’ll investigate the Code, Cloud, and AI technologies Wiz protects, build functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts, and conduct technical research to model risks and attack vectors for modern cloud- and AI-native architectures. The role also involves defining and implementing agentic workflows that keep contextual understanding consistent as environments evolve.

Key Responsibilities

•Investigate code, cloud, and AI technologies that Wiz integrates with and protects to answer key research questions.
•Design and build functional prototypes, turning product ideas into working PoCs and supporting implementation.
•Conduct technical research to model risks and attack vectors for modern cloud- and AI-native architectures.
•Define and implement novel agentic workflows to express consistent contextual understanding across evolving application and cloud environments.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research.
•Strong threat-modeling mindset for both attacker approaches and enterprise defenses.
•Deep architectural understanding of complex software systems (low-level, distributed, or core system engineering mindset).
•Proven ability to independently prioritize and drive multi-quarter research projects from concept to working PoC and product integration.
•Strong ability to define and implement agentic workflows.
