Job Summary

Senior leadership role leading GEICO’s Platform Engineering efforts across File Exchange, Unified Platform Experience (UPE) and Unified Control Plane (UCP). You will define architectural standards, manage end-to-end delivery, drive multi-cloud onboarding and IaC initiatives, mentor a growth-focused team, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver highly available, geo-distributed, compliant platform services.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the File Exchange Platform team to deliver high availability and geo-distributed resiliency, meeting NYDFS/PCI compliance and vulnerability SLAs while reducing onboarding cycle time and support burden.
•Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the platform meets performance and reliability goals.
•Own end-to-end delivery of team strategy and platforms, including budget development and reporting on results.
•Drive the Unified Platform Experience (UPE) and Unified Control Plane (UCP) initiatives, including platform SDKs, UI/UX, IaC as a Service, and governance.
•Identify and mitigate project risks, communicate trade-offs, and present actionable solutions across multiple areas.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 130,000 - 300,000

Key Requirements

•Software and system design knowledge and experience.
•Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.).
•5+ years designing, developing, and operating enterprise platforms or IaC delivery systems.
•Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, .NET, Go, or TypeScript.
•Experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and platform engineering practices including onboarding, SDK-based onboarding, and unified control-plane architectures.
