Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.
  • •Provide senior technical guidance to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assigned systems and applications.
  • •Partner with cybersecurity teams to support security compliance and provide documentation, training, and guidance on advanced IT processes and procedures.
  • •Mentor and guide junior administrators on system administration responsibilities including maintenance, account management, and performance tuning.
  • •Develop, document, and enforce system administration processes, standards, and best practices, including participation in change request reviews and change management boards.

Key Requirements

  • •Active and transferrable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance required prior to start date, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.
  • •Manage and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience mentoring both individuals and teams.
  • •CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent) / DoD 8140-8570 certification requirements (must be able to obtain).
