Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production scheduling for multiple work centers, including advanced forecasting of part shortages, long-term rate projections, and constraint management across 12+ missions.
  • •Develop and maintain rate-based master schedules for hardware lines and perform scenario modeling for optimal hardware allocation (new vs. refurb).
  • •Partner with production, engineering, and supply chain to define, track, and execute daily/weekly work-center and program goals while balancing constraints against rate objectives.
  • •Use MRP/ERP systems and advanced SQL queries to identify shortages, expedite material flow, and integrate data into real-time dashboards for build visibility.
  • •Champion scheduling automation and mentor junior schedulers; conduct capacity analysis and root-cause schedule issues to prevent slips and drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations experience, or 8+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Advanced experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and SQL in high-volume production environments.
  • •Strong ability to problem-solve with speed and accuracy in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
  • •Proficiency in coding/scripting (SQL, VBA, Python) and tools such as MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, Power BI, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • •Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement using lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Kaizen, or equivalent frameworks.
