Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive accessibility for Slack Kit Compose components, auditing/fixing issues and building/maintaining snapshot and automated accessibility testing.
  • •Diagnose and fix TalkBack/framework issues and generalize fixes into shared utilities other teams can adopt.
  • •Own and evolve Android accessibility test suites and infrastructure, including custom tooling and third-party integrations for automated UI-test coverage.
  • •Provide accessibility guidance to feature teams on complex UI work, including labeling, focus order, state announcements, and audible feedback.
  • •Lead VPAT compliance efforts by triaging and resolving related tickets, grouping recurring issues into epics, and documenting compliance posture.
