Job Summary

Install audio-visual systems on AVI-SPL customer projects, handling cable pulls and terminations, mounting rack systems, and supporting equipment and component installation. Read electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors, and assist with fabrication and rack wiring. Coordinate with a Lead Technician to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements, including travel to job sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation tasks on AVI-SPL contracted projects, including cable pulls and terminations, equipment/components installation, rack systems work, and metal fabrication per directives.
•Coordinate with a Lead Technician to ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints to support installations.
•Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors and complete AV systems installation tasks.
•Assist with management and security of equipment and tools on the jobsite and travel to job sites as required.

Key Requirements

•Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with audiovisual equipment and systems.
•Comfort using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Valid Driver’s License and an MVR that meets AVI-SPL driving privileges standards; minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
