Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula care to clients.
  • •Attend births as a doula within your independent practice.
  • •Work in a non-exclusive independent contractor network while keeping your own clients.
  • •Use Loula’s support for Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, insurance verification, billing, and payment to reduce administrative burden.
  • •Participate in shared resources and ongoing support within the doula network.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, or 5 years of experience as a doula with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
