Key Responsibilities

  • •Review key process engineering deliverables (Process Descriptions, Basis of Design, PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets/schedules, design calculations, enthalpy balances, design justification reports) as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • •Lead all aspects of process design to ensure compliance with project scope and health and safety standards using a Safety in Design approach
  • •Develop project programme and manage workload within the Process Team; liaise with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design; communicate development in meetings and reports
  • •Develop the Process Team through training, guidance and review; support recruitment activities and manage Contractors; build relationships with Delivery Partners
  • •Stay abreast of technical and commercial developments in the nuclear industry and support bid/proposals

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Member with IChemE or equivalent; 10+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in the nuclear industry
  • •Experience leading the delivery of process engineering work packages and mentoring junior engineers
  • •Ability to support bids and develop delivery schedules
  • •Knowledge of health and safety regulations and NEC contracts
  • •Able to meet UK security clearance requirements and hold a full UK driving license
