Job Summary

Lead 1st-shift plant operations in Jacksonville, driving safety, continuous improvement, quality, and cost performance. You’ll mentor and coach production employees (including non-exempt workforce), oversee production and shipping schedules, manage shift maintenance with the maintenance team, and ensure compliance with CHEP procedures and applicable federal/state/local laws. Partner with the Plant Manager on cost/yield, P&L objectives, SOP execution, and Lean opportunity identification to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

•Manage shift maintenance activities by coordinating equipment breakdown resolution with the maintenance team to keep operations running.
•Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, including Lean opportunity identification and SOP execution compliance.
