Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in estimation, post-award kickoff, partnering, pre-construction, design development, and coordination meetings during conceptual and preconstruction phases.
  • •Ensure construction does not begin until the Designer of Record finalizes designs and required submittals are approved per contract.
  • •Manage a professional team (e.g., Safety Manager, Scheduler, Estimator, Project Controller, Quality Control manager, Site Superintendent).
  • •Direct execution across all project phases, including attending final walks and providing marked up and as-built drawings.
  • •Manage multiple projects with cost control and delivery schedules, maintain short- and long-term schedules (including integrated master scheduling), and coordinate weekly/monthly on-site meetings with government stakeholders.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Construction, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
  • •10+ years managing construction projects, including 5 years managing Federal construction projects.
  • •Thorough knowledge of Federal contracts and safety standards (including OSHA and other listed regulations/standards) and ability to apply them in the field.
  • •Experience managing multiple projects, cost management, and timely execution against job order budgets and delivery schedules.
  • •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on active construction sites; certifications/licenses and public trust approval are required/desired (e.g., OSHA 30-hour and First Aid/CPR, as applicable).
