Verify and manage incoming and outgoing automotive parts shipments, ensuring accurate records, proper shipment methods, and compliance with inventory controls. You will count, weigh, unpack, and inspect deliveries, resolve damage/shortage issues with shippers, and prepare outgoing shipments that meet specifications. The role also maintains clean, labeled storage areas and inventory of shipping supplies, using a parts department computer system and operating material-handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
