Job Summary

Lead end-to-end facilities strategy and operations for the Space team, driving construction and build-out of cleanroom facilities for space vehicle integration. Own the business line real estate portfolio across offices, R&D labs, test sites, and production sites, while managing space allocation and translating engineering requirements into facility needs. Partner cross-functionally to launch new facilities efficiently, forecast multi-year real estate investments, and manage financial impact to the Space P&L.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive construction and build-out of new cleanroom facilities for space vehicles.
•Own the business line real estate portfolio across office, R&D lab, test site, initial production, and full rate production sites.
•Manage short- and long-term space allocation for office and prototyping lab space to meet evolving needs.
•Translate engineering and production requirements into facility requirements for new builds, retrofits, and test sites in collaboration with Industrial Engineering, Production, and Test teams.
•Collaborate with corporate real estate and lead launch of new facilities across Engineering, Production, Real Estate, and IT; forecast real estate needs and manage Space P&L impact.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience designing, constructing, and building out cleanroom facilities for space vehicles, including integration cleanrooms.
•Strong project management with a track record delivering large multi-stakeholder projects on time and on budget.
•Experience designing and/or setting up new production lines or factories, from process mapping through collaboration with infrastructure and workstation design partners.
•Ability to read technical documentation such as facility drawings, with strong Excel proficiency and in-depth knowledge of construction means and methods.
•6–10 years managing a real estate portfolio or experience in a manufacturing environment in a high-growth technology company, with eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
