Job Summary

Manage deployments, upgrades, and support for Systems Engineering tools, ensuring testing, data backups, compliance, and reliable tool integrations and configurations. Lead a team of Tool Specialists, advise programs on implementing integrated Systems Engineering solutions, and identify best practices to improve software deployment and support efficiency. Work with engineers to migrate from legacy tools and partner with vendors to evaluate and improve Systems Engineering technologies, across multiple onsite US locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage deployments, upgrades, and support for Systems Engineering tools, including testing, data backups, compliance, and tool integrations/configurations.
•Lead a team of Tool Specialists supporting Systems Engineering tools for sustainment.
•Champion deployment of new and existing integrated Systems Engineering solutions and consult with programs on implementation.
•Identify, document, and champion best practices and improvements to increase efficiency of software deployment and support.
•Plan and implement migrations off legacy Systems Engineering applications and engage vendors for technology evaluations and improvements.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years’ experience.
•Experience applying engineering tools/solutions in two or more Systems and Software Engineering capability areas (Architecture/Modeling, Math & Analysis, Modeling & Simulation, Model Based Systems Engineering, Advanced Analysis & Test).
•Experience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methods.
•Admin experience with Windows and Linux, plus scripting/automation background to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
•U.S. citizenship is required for access under the program/contract.
