Key Responsibilities

  • •Process import operations in line with SOP/OPM and UCP/ISBP/ISP, including charges recovery as per guidelines.
  • •Perform sanctions checking for relevant parties in documents and handle commodity trade operations documents.
  • •Authorize/input transactions and prepare/authorize relevant SWIFT messages.
  • •Maintain accurate charge collection and ensure no revenue leakage; close reconciliation entries in Nostro or internal accounts.
  • •Address customer service issues by sharing errors/knowledge gaps with the line manager, escalate issues promptly, and support audits and trainings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Trade Operations.
  • •Expert knowledge of import payments (Trust Receipts, Advance Payments, Funded Risk Participations).
  • •Expert knowledge of accounting entries and UATs, including amortization principles.
  • •Strong communication, attentiveness to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure; proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
