Key Responsibilities

  • •Be a recognized, consistent presence in the Bay Area AI community by speaking, hosting, and building relationships at relevant events.
  • •Own medium-to-large advocacy projects end-to-end for the AI and agents area, from scoping through delivery.
  • •Create production-ready reference implementations, starter kits, and demos to help practitioners build, evaluate, and govern agents on Databricks.
  • •Produce and repurpose high-quality educational content including videos, sample notebooks, datasets, tutorials, courseware, and blog posts.
  • •Act as a trusted advisor between the AI community and product teams by gathering community feedback and influencing roadmap discussions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,200 - 205,150 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of combined experience as a developer advocate and in a hands-on technical role (software engineer, ML engineer, data scientist, or solutions architect).
  • •Professional experience building and operating AI or ML systems, not only presenting about them.
  • •Subject matter knowledge of solving AI/ML problems at scale, including agent design, evaluation, and production operations.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of the Databricks AI ecosystem, including Genie Agents, Genie, MLflow, and Databricks Unity AI Gateway.
  • •Strong Python skills and fluency with agent and ML tooling; based in the Bay Area and able to be active in the community regularly.
