Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and review the master dispatch/delivery schedule.
  • •Supervise dispatch operations, assigned personnel, and company drivers, including hiring and discipline.
  • •Perform daily logistics planning for all locations and ensure adequate staffing and scheduling of dispatchers and drivers.
  • •Oversee dispatch systems processes (pick lists/ship tickets, load planning with transportation management system) and coordinate multiple destination loads.
  • •Manage and analyze transportation costs and freight-related updates; investigate billing/ticketing issues with accounting and coordinate repairs and safety with the fleet manager.
