Job Summary

Establish and run a project Materials Control System to ensure the right materials are received, inspected, stored, preserved, inventoried, and issued to the correct locations on schedule. Manage full auditability and traceability from receipt through certification to handover to the owner, while maintaining delivery look-ahead and matching schedules. Coordinate with home office and field teams to support EPCm fabrication, erection, and installation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish, maintain and operate a Materials Control System that complies with company procedures and site work practices and aligns with the project procurement execution plan.
•Oversee safe receipt/offloading, inspection, handling, storage/preservation, inventory control, allocation, issue/return, surplus listing, and reconciliation for project free issue materials.
•Ensure “Right Material at Right Location at Right Time” to support construction schedules, interfacing with home office Project Materials Control to expedite material flow.
•Maintain auditability and traceability for material control transactions, including documentation from material certification through issue and handover to the owner.
•Maintain delivery look-ahead and material matching schedules and coordinate with the planning engineer and construction field supervision; perform additional materials control duties as required.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4 years’ direct experience controlling and managing materials from warehouse receipt through distribution to required site locations and contractors.
•Knowledge of specifications for typical industry materials (e.g., pipes, pumps, mechanical, instrument and electrical).
•Working knowledge of materials systems, process controls, warehousing, and logistics within the oil and gas industry.
•Basic knowledge of legislative requirements for onshore and offshore materials management.
•Fluent in Thai (spoken and written) to communicate with local client personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
