Job Summary

Lead medium to large telecommunications engineering projects for the kW MCE Telecommunication Team by planning work plans, schedules, budgets, and proposals while obtaining client approvals. Manage multiple concurrent projects, maintain client and stakeholder relationships, and proactively resolve issues affecting scope, quality, cost, and delivery. Track and report performance and risks, administer subconsultant agreements and invoicing, implement quality control plans, and mentor project team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead teams of engineers, designers, and other staff through project completion; manage more than one project at a time.
•Prepare project work plans, proposals, and schedules and obtain management/client approval.
•Maintain client communication on project status and quality; resolve issues proactively.
•Track and report performance against the plan (cost/schedule and KPIs), manage change, and analyze delivery risks with contingency plans.
•Lead business development initiatives (RFQs/RFPs), compile scope and fee estimates, and implement quality control and maintain project records.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or construction management (or equivalent experience).
•7-10 years in project and/or program management on large engineering and/or construction projects.
•Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing issues/scope/quality to deliver within cost and time requirements.
•Familiarity with commonly used project delivery models.
•Proficiency with project planning, risk/cost/schedule management and analyzing/reporting project performance on KPIs.
