Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and lead delivery of complex, multidisciplinary architecture projects in the Nuclear Sector (Civil and/or Defence).
  • •Drive progressive, innovative design solutions aligned with client goals and maintain leadership across project lifecycles.
  • •Ensure Safety in Design principles are embedded across all stages, including materials selection, building systems, and production of specifications.
  • •Lead and mentor an architectural team, ensuring quality, accuracy, and full coordination of design documentation.
  • •Organise and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets; support client engagement, bid preparation, and commercial performance (including NEC contract administration if required).

Key Requirements

  • •Full registration as an Architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
  • •Possession of a relevant degree or professional qualification in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • •Demonstrable leadership in architectural delivery within the Nuclear Sector (Civil and/or Defence) or another highly regulated industry.
  • •Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy and leading design management, stakeholder negotiation, and collaboration.
  • •Confident decision-maker with strong understanding of project lifecycles and risk management, able to lead teams through complex challenges.
