Job Summary

Develop and optimize the front-end of Harmattan AI's visual inertial odometry (VIO) stack, including frame/stereo matching, camera calibration, and obstruction detection. Implement and optimize algorithms for embedded platforms, and validate via simulation and real-world testing while collaborating with system, optical, and software engineers to advance autonomous defense software.

Key Responsibilities

•VIO Front-end algorithm development: Matching between frames and stereo pairs; calibration of cameras intrinsic and extrinsic parameters; detection of obstruction.
•Implementation and optimization of the algorithmic stack for our embedded platforms.
•Testing, validation & monitoring: algorithms testing in simulation and real-world environments, development of inspection and monitoring tools.
•Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with system engineers, optical engineers, software engineers. Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Robotics, Physics, Computer Science or related field; PhD is a plus.
