Job Summary

Own day-to-day field fabrication execution for fluids piping, tubing, and instrumentation integration at Starbase. Lead fabrication site logistics, scheduling, quality control, material delivery coordination, and contractor management while ensuring tubing and installations meet SpaceX standards. Develop estimates, solicit bids, award contracts, and manage budget/scope for fabrication packages. Coordinate in real time with engineering and facilities, and support hands-on work as needed in a fast-paced test and operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Own day-to-day execution of fluids fabrication projects on site.
•Lead site logistics and operations including scheduling, progress tracking, quality control, and resource allocation.
•Oversee procurement and execution of fabrication construction projects, including cost estimates, bids, contracts, and budget/scope management.
•Directly supervise tubers and fitters, set daily priorities, and manage night shift fabrication contractors as required.
•Serve as primary point of contact for fabrication activities between contractors, engineering, and SpaceX teams; resolve field issues and review drawings for constructability.

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
•3+ years of professional experience in construction or aerospace, with experience leading or coordinating a labor force.

•Candidate must be capable of safely working at heights (up to 500ft), in confined spaces, and performing required physical duties.
