Key Responsibilities

  • •Support materials planning by analyzing manufacturer recommendations and surplus review data to prepare float/initial provisioning/replenishment and detect/report discrepancies.
  • •Review non-moving and slow-moving items, identify surplus stock, and monitor critical nil stock and aircraft maintenance programme shortages based on schedules and triggers.
  • •Coordinate with repair, procurement, warehouse, and maintenance teams to resolve due-in issues and recommend escalations when required.
  • •Ensure heavy maintenance and line support work package demands are met by making spares and equipment available prior to aircraft induction; action AOG, flight protection, and rush tag requests.
  • •Execute inventory control activities including stocktaking at DXB and outstation stores, review inventory parameters and KPIs, and maintain compliance with materials planning procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years schooling or equivalent.
  • •At least 3 years of experience in Engineering Materials & Stores (min 1.5 years may be considered).
  • •Experience in airline/MRO engineering materials & stores or minimum 5 years in supply chain management.
  • •Experience in an airline or third-party maintenance environment with knowledge of warehouse/logistics, repairs management, material planning/support, inventory control, and technical purchasing.
  • •Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of aircraft components and ERP (Inventory Management) system, plus ability to analyze reports.
