Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate designs into production-quality implementation by working directly in the codebase and collaborating closely with front-end engineers.
  • •Autonomously lead highly impactful product design engineering projects from ideation through execution and release against success criteria.
  • •Assess vague problems, propose high-impact solutions, and drive product-related design decisions with stakeholders.
  • •Maintain design system consistency across design and code, including token layering, naming parity, and deeper structuring beyond components.
  • •Instrument and run research/experimentation to inform decisions, using qualitative and quantitative data to measure impact.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in product design and/or design engineering, including 2+ years in senior-level design positions at global consumer brands.
  • •Communicate visual and interaction recommendations using high-quality mockups, prototypes, and clear rationale.
  • •Partner with engineers as a peer, discuss decisions in PR reviews, and contribute code when it’s the fastest route to the right result.
  • •Define requirements and develop tools to accelerate design and engineering workflows and maintain design system quality across design and code.
  • •Prototype in code to a production standard with understanding of semantic markup and accessibility, and proficiency in motion/interaction implementation.
