Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide postpartum doula care for insured clients through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program.
  • •Work as an independent contractor within a non-exclusive doula network.
  • •Maintain the required doula qualifications (CPR, HIPAA training, liability insurance, and/or letters of recommendation as applicable).
  • •Participate in Loula’s screening and introductory call process to assess partnership fit.
  • •Collaborate with Loula’s Care Navigator and use shared network resources and community support.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience as a doula, with 3 letters of recommendation, OR completion of 16 hours of birth/full-spectrum doula training and attendance at 3 births as a doula.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •If you don’t yet have CPR training, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out for support setting them up.
