Job Summary

Provide timely, accurate accounting services to Mastercard Worldwide within the Global Business Services Center, including contract review and key contributions to the month-end close for net revenue and rebate/incentive payment validation, processing, and approval. Review contracts, manage customer/deal/incentive setup in the Mastercard Contra Revenue System, create and review journal entries in Oracle, perform reconciliations, support SOX controls, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Review executed contracts and create customers, deals, and incentives in the Mastercard Contra Revenue System (CRS).
•Perform timely, accurate close of the CRS sub-ledger and Oracle general ledger, including creation and review of journal entries.
•Identify and prepare manual journal entries based on close results, trends, and actual vs. budget/forecast analysis.
•Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations and perform detailed review of rebate and incentive payment requests, including driver data validation.
•Support SOX control compliance, partner with financial systems on CRS requirements, and recommend process improvements for accounting operational efficiency and quality.

Key Requirements

•CPA/CA (preferred).
•Knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts.
•Robust understanding of financial/ERP systems, preferably direct experience with Oracle.
•Prior revenue, contra revenue, and/or contract management experience (preferred).
•Prior experience in significant process improvement projects with strong communication and customer service skills.
