Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as Architectural Job Captain under the direction of the Senior Architect to support AECOM’s collaborative design process.
  • •Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required and independently perform advanced technical assignments as scheduled.
  • •Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations, and prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables.
  • •Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups and coordinate technical/administrative activities with other disciplines.
  • •Assist in reviewing and approving conceptual designs and support development of new architectural methods and techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Architecture plus four (4) years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Licensed as a registered architect or proven steps toward licensure such as exams completed, preferably in OH.
  • •Knowledge of building systems and materials and local building codes.
  • •Ability to produce design intent renderings and design concept diagrams.
  • •Highly proficient with 3D modeling software (Revit, SketchUp and/or Rhino) and Microsoft Office Suite.
