Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical assistance, support, and expert advice to execute continuous improvement and condition-based inspection strategies for fixed plant operations.
  • •Safely perform routine and unplanned structural and condition-based maintenance activities using NDT techniques including visual, vibration analysis, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and eddy current testing.
  • •Accurately report inspections using approved formats and templates, including SAP, and maintain data in relevant databases.
  • •Monitor, track, and trend defects to ensure risks are understood and mitigated with RTIO standard instrumentation.
  • •Coach, mentor, and provide technical support to Fixed Plant Maintenance, including mentoring partners and new or trainee AH technicians on NDT and condition-based strategy execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Adhere to safety standards, policies, and procedures while supporting a positive safety culture.
  • •Computer literacy including SAP and Microsoft Suite, with sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Understanding of work management, maintenance, and asset health processes to execute inspection strategies.
  • •A Mechanical Trade qualification and/or reliability engineering background, plus a current Western Australia “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
  • •Level 1 & 2 Certification in vibration analysis and experience using MHM.
