Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, and implement electromechanical control systems for solar array actuators, antenna gimbals, and active optics.
  • •Design, analyze, and implement satellite attitude control and momentum management systems.
  • •Design, analyze, and implement fluid and power system controls for Starlink hall thrusters.
  • •Develop and maintain high fidelity simulations using C++, Python, and Matlab, and integrate them into collaborative analysis tools.
  • •Implement, validate, unit test, and deploy production software (C++) for the described systems, with ongoing hardware performance monitoring in the fleet.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, physics, or an engineering discipline.
  • •Software development experience in C++.
  • •Experience designing and analyzing closed loop control systems.
  • •Ability to identify and solve complex problems in a self-directed manner.
  • •Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
